Are you ready to take an inspiring trip through our Manor House garden today. Our designers have once again created some stunning pieces to share with you.

MHC have a huge variety of flowers, in just about every colour imaginable, but, even with so many to choose from, sometimes, you will find that you just dont have that ‘perfect’ coloured flower that you need. So, we thought we would show you just how easy it is to alter our flowers, ever so slightly, and very easily, to match any project, and any colour imaginable.

Firtly, Gwen has created a beautiful, heartfelt card, suitable for any occasion, and perfect for someone special. The pretty blooms frame the sentiment perfectly.

All our flowers take up ink so well, as you can see here, where Gwen has used Glimmer Glam to change the white ‘Ashlee’ bloom an impressive aqua colour. Notice how the blue edges of the Ashlee flower have given the flower a pretty, almost purple edge.

Karen is next, with a pair of pretty, shabby chic tags, made using the gorgeous Taniesha flowers. These flower sprays are just the perfect size for tags and cards.

Karen has used just a little Gesso on the edge of the petals on both the yellow, and mauve Taniesha flowers, to give them a more ‘shabby’ look.

Another beautiful, shabby card from Elena.

Elena had added just a hint of brown ink to the edge of the petals, to grunge them up a little, to better suit her card

We love these  2 adorably cute layouts by Nancy. Starring her 2 gorgeous babies.

Nancy has used blue paint to alter the  white flowers to match her layout. She simply put a small amount of blue paint into a spray bottle, and watered it down. Nancy said she was very pleasantly surprised at how well the paint took to the flowers. This is a very inexpensive alternative to buying ready made spray inks.

And, lastly, another beautiful mixed media layout by Elena. Elena is the queen of mixed media, and on this layout she has used lots of awesome paints and inks to completely change the look of her flowers.

Elena has been very inventive here. She has removed the centres of some of the flowers, and added them as the centre of others, giving a pretty 2 toned look to the flowers.
